Historical Trolley Tours
Sundays May 26, 2024 - October 13, 2024
Join us for a free, one hour Historical Trolley Tour. Tours run every Sunday from May 26 until October 13, at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Meet at the Town Square Shuttle Stop. Seating is limited and Tours may be cancelled due to rain. No 2:00 pm Tour on August 11.
Trolley Tours are free of charge but DONATIONS are always welcome to support our non-profit organization.
7th Annual Getting To Know the Valley

Take a stroll around Town Square and learn about the many organizations and businesses of Waterville Valley.
This is a great opportunity to: “Get to Know the Valley”
6th Annual Cellar Hole Hike with the Conklins
September 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM
Join Brenda and Preston to visit the “cellar holes” of some of Waterville’s earliest settlers, and the old Waterville Cemetery. The 3 mile hike will take about 2.5 hours, depending on questions. Hikers should wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Meet at the parking lot pull-off at the junction of Rt.49 and Upper Mad River Road, also known as the 6-mile bridge.
3rd Annual Waterville Valley Scavenger Hunt
Self Guided from July 1st - August 31st 2024
Join in the fun of exploring Waterville Valley while learning about its history. This 25 item scavenger hunts brings you all around town. Stop by the Recreation Department on Noon Peak Road to pick up your “Hunt Packet”.
The object of the Hunt is to locate 25 sites within the Valley. When you have found a site, take a “selfie.” When all 25 sites have been located, bring your completed list and phone to the Rec, to claim your prize.

Annual Meeting
August 11, 2024 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Waterville Valley Recreation Department
All are welcome! Please join us at the Waterville Valley Rec Department from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. The afternoon begins with our traditional “Meet and Greet” featuring sweet and savory snacks, followed by a presentation with our own Birdie Britton. The afternoon concludes with a “very short” business meeting and election of officers.
