The 2026 5th Annual
Great Waterville Valley Summer Scavenger Hunt!
This year’s theme: WATERVILLE VALLEY WONDERPOINTS
Wonderpoints are a self guided in-town walking tour created by the Waterville Valley Foundation. Each Wonderpoint has a sign with a QR code. Scanning the QR code with your phone or tablet will bring you to a webpage giving you information about the view, local history, or location.

Packets can also be obtained at the Waterville Valley Recreation Department.
All prizes are first come first pick!
The Hunt will commence on the first day of summer, June 21, 2026. All completed entries must be turned into the Waterville Valley Rec Department by Labor Day, September 7, 2026.
How to Scavenger Hunt:
Pick up a Scavenger Hunt Packet at the Rec Department or view/print the files in the packet via the links above.
Use the Wonderpoints map to find the 17 Wonderpoints around the town of Waterville Valley. Wonderpoints can be explored in any order - feel free to start wherever you’d like.
Take a selfie at each Wonderpoint.
Scan the QR code on each Wonderpoint sign to read the information.
Record a brief description of each Wonderpoint on the return form or feel free to use your own physical or online list.
Return your completed form to the Rec Department and show your selfies to the staff by the end date to claim your prize.
